Assistance with Social and Community Participation is an NDIS-funded support designed to make it easier for you to join community and social programs that align with your interests and goals.
With the assistance of a support worker from Aspire Hub, you can enjoy a wide range of recreational activities and programs such as; sports and active hobbies that move your body with a team, attending concerts or events with friends, joining a new class to develop your skills or anything else you like!
Participating in social activities is important to feel connected to your community and build relationships with like-minded people. Having friends is known to improve overall wellbeing and even support you as you age.
By trying new things, such as hobbies, you also develop your self-confidence which leads to positive outcomes in other areas of your life, such as finding and keeping a job and living more independently. That’s a double win!!
