Living in Logan City
If you’re looking for a multicultural immersion or to reconnect with nature, the vibrant and diverse City of Logan could be the place for you. Ideally nestled between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Logan is a 35-minute drive from the Brisbane CBD, and has many developing suburbs, a good public transport system and easy access to the best of south east Queensland.
There are pristine regional parks to enjoy beside the Logan River, walking paths through wetlands and bushland, and the Daisy Hill Koala Conservation Area.
Public and private transport options are available for residents here. If you’re driving, three major highways pass through the area:
- Pacific Motorway (connecting Brisbane to the Gold Coast)
- Mount Lindesay Highway (linking Brisbane and Beaudesert)
- Logan Motorway (connecting Logan to Ipswich)
If you’d prefer to make use of public transport, you can use one of two bus services in the area which can get you all around Logan, up to Brisbane or down to the Gold Coast.
